We’re looking to recruit a Logistic & Allocations Assistant, joining the Operations Directorate, to effectively plan, resource and allocate UK Anti-Doping’s (UKAD) Doping Control Personnel (DCP) in an efficient and cost-effective manner, ensuring the successful implementation of UKAD’s risk-based, intelligence-led testing programme in line with International Standards and the Operations Directorate Operational Plan.

Job purpose
To effectively plan, resource and allocate UK Anti-Doping’s (UKAD) Doping Control Personnel (DCP) in an efficient and cost-effective manner, ensuring the successful implementation of UKAD’s risk-based, intelligence-led testing programme in line with International Standards and the Operations Directorate Operational Plan. Specifically, you will be responsible for:
Allocating UKAD’s remote workforce of DCP to testing missions in the UK
Coordinating logistics relating to couriers, documentation, equipment and any other logistical requirements for testing missions
Providing support on other DCP and Testing team projects/activities

The role sits within the Testing team which delivers an annual testing programme of over 10,000 tests across more than 40 sports
The Testing team is responsible for managing UKAD’s remote workforce of DCP (approximately 180 DCP) based across the UK
Key result areas
Allocations
To allocate DCP to testing missions, particularly within football, efficiently and fairly, ensuring that missions are sufficiently resourced
Engage with DCP to communicate information regarding testing missions in a timely manner
Ensure Testing Orders on the Anti-Doping Administration and Management System (ADAMS) are accurately updated
Assist with the monthly DCP availability process and maintain up-to-date records of DCP availability
Contribute towards the ongoing review of DCP workload distribution, ensuring a good rotation of work across DCP
Logistics
Assist the Logistics and Allocation Officer with equipment and documentation requests from DCP and sending this out in a timely manner
Assist the with the monitoring and checks of stock of equipment and documentation
DCP Support
Build effective working relationships with DCP and provide support and guidance where required
Collaborate with the Finance team to ensure that DCP can submit their expense claims and approving DCP expense claims within the deadlines required
Ensuring quality checks are carried out in relation to DCP data
Maintain and update DCP information as necessary
Football Sub-Team
Assist the Football sub team in the delivery of the Football Testing programme
Liaise with the Football Testing Officer, ensuring they are updated on the allocation of their testing missions and agreeing amendments where necessary
Person specification
Qualifications/experience/knowledge
Experience of planning and co-ordination type roles
Experience of relationship management
Competent user of Microsoft Excel and possess a high level of numeracy
Experience in the use and maintenance of IT systems and the management of database systems.
An understanding of Anti-Doping rules and policies is desirable
An interest in sport, particularly football, and knowledge of League structures in the UK is desirable.

An effective communicator (written and verbal)
Ability to successfully develop and manage positive working relationships with a network of internal and external stakeholders
Planning and monitoring skills with the ability to work to multiple tight deadlines within a time pressured environment
Ability to balance and prioritise your workload and remain calm under pressure

Ability to work well in a team whilst working remotely and continue to deliver to a high standard
